Mulino Maroggia, operating since 1888, is the largest and most modern mill in Ticino, processing over 50 tons of grain daily. Its product range includes traditional and specialty flours: soft wheat, durum wheat (e.g., “friscello” semolina), rye, spelt, multi-grain mixes, IP-Suisse and Ticino-certified flours, bakery, pastry and pizza flours, and various types of polenta (classic, coarse, taragna). Milling by-products like bran and middlings are used in animal feed.
